Hello, and welcome to the Quassaick Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR). We are located in Newburgh, New York, in the historic Hudson Valley region. I’m Regent Tammy Nosek, and on behalf of all our chapter Daughters, I’d like to welcome you to our website.

I invite you to take a moment to read about our chapter’s formation in 1893 and the history behind our chapter name. You can also view our Patriot Wall where we pay tribute to our American Revolutionary War ancestors to honor their service and sacrifices. Feel free to stop by our Facebook page for lively conversation or to ask any questions you may have about our chapter or the DAR organization.

The DAR is a national women’s volunteer organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving history, and supporting education. Any woman eighteen years of age or older who is a direct descendant of an American Revolutionary War soldier, or other person who gave aid to the patriot cause, is eligible to join. We work to serve our communities through historic preservation, monument dedications, grave markings and commemorations, participation in holiday ceremonies or parades, educational programs, and outreach events for our veterans.

If you are interested in joining the DAR, please click on the membership links to be redirected to the appropriate pages. If you need any additional help, please contact us and we’ll be sure to reply shortly. We’re always happy to assist you.
